This year for a family holiday we decided that we would visit the Western Isles. It's been 21 years since I was last on Lewis and Harris and Anna had never been, so with a plan to spend two weeks exploring we spent week one on Lewis and Harris and week two on Benbecula.

Obviously I had all my cameras with me as I couldn't let this opportunity pass. So, in between spending time with the family I had earmarked a few locations that I wanted to visit with the camera.

As I mentioned in my previous blog on here I am also trying to build in a bit of video from my trips - the intention being to introduce myself as well as give a little bit more of a story behind my images. This video covers week one of our holiday - the majority of the video covers Lewis with a small bit on Harris. As I only scratched the surface on this trip, and it wasn't dedicated tp photography a return is on the cards for next year.
